Join REAL Houston on Tuesday, June 24, from 7:45–9:30 a.m. at Brennan’s of Houston for breakfast with industry leaders across the energy value chain for a morning of connection, community, and conversation!

In addition to providing an opportunity to connect with other clean energy leaders, we will have a short discussion with an industry leader, Phillip Vyhanek, while breakfast is served.

Phil is President & COO of GameChange Solar, and will share his perspective on the industry in 2025 and beyond. In his role with the second largest manufacturer of solar trackers in the US, Phil is not only in close contact with many participants in the solar industry, he is also active on Capitol Hill. Join us to hear Phil’s perspective on the state of the solar industry, the tariff landscape, and US policy.

Speaker Bio

Phil is an executive with over 30 years of management experience in general management, sales, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and private equity, with the last 13 years focused on renewable energy. Since joining GameChange in 2019, Phil has been instrumental in implementing a new ERP system with best-in-class project management tools for GameChange customers. He leads many aspects of our business, including project management, supply chain, field operations, and quality. Prior to joining GameChange, Phil spent 10 years in the solar industry as the President of a leading solar inverter manufacturer. Accomplished in growing businesses organically and through acquisitions, he has over 25 years of international business experience, managing multi-location, multi-national facilities, including implementing ERP systems and Six Sigma techniques with companies such as Laird Technologies, Honeywell, and Ford Motor Company. Phil created strategic OEM customer relationships as well as growing distribution sales channels. Known for success in managing Fortune 500 companies as well as a track record in taking privately held companies to the next level resulting in successful equity transactions. Phil earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and his MBA from the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor.
